We are over the moon to welcome Sam Ghezzi and his fantastic band Roaring Cats to Malmö! Come join us for a swingout on the spacious dance floor at Moriska Paviljongen. <3
Perhaps you danced to Ghezzi and his smaller blues ensemble last year? This time, he will swing your socks off with his 7-piece swing ensemble.

- Members of Cats’ Corner: 150 SEK
- Non-members: 190 SEK
- HepTown teachers: same rules as for a normal Wednesday Night Hop!
- Beginner class participants (levels A and B) are not offered free entrance for live music nights
A note on event pricing:
While 150/190 SEK is a low price for a live concert, we understand that times are tough right now and that a lot of us are struggling. If you can’t attend this social dance for financial reasons, don’t hesitate to pop us a DM on Facebook or write to us at hello@catscorner.se. We could always use a couple of extra helping paws here and there.
BAND BIO
Roaring Cats are one of Europe’s most promising swing and hot jazz bands. The tiny orchestra based in Amsterdam took the challenge of giving value and new significance to the roots of jazz.
Their repertoire consists of original arrangements of the finest tunes by the top artists of the 30’s and 40’s: from Fats Waller to Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington to Jimmie Lunceford. On top of that, they are presenting original compositions in style. Swell notes for hyperactive swing dancers and for sedentary drinking listeners.
