Welcome to Monday Night Swing a social dance where we every Monday swing-out in the big ballroom Gasquesalen at Kårhuset.

You are very welcome regardless of age, membership, dance ability, with or without a partner and if you are a student or not.

At this social dance we mostly dance Lindy Hop but you can also find someone dancing Balboa, Solo Jazz and Collegiate Shag. You are of course welcome to come and dance foxtrot, bugg or any dance you know…

MAJOR DANISH FEATURE FILM SHOOTING IN MALMÖ LOOKING FOR LINDYHOP EXTRAS.

Title: “De forbandede år 3 – Fredens pris”

On the 6th & 8th of May 2025 several scenes involving Lindyhop extras will be shot in Malmö. In the those scenes mainly young people in their 20s are partying and dancing at a jazz club. The level of the dancers may vary a lot. Quite a few may be totally new to Lindy hop, but you should be comfortable with dancing in a big crowd in front of a camera.

The film series “De Forbandede år” have been a big success in Denmark and takes place during World war II. It evolves around the danish family Skov and their lives during the war. The third movie, which is now casting extras, takes place in 1947 in the aftermath of the war.

On the 7th of april Carl Moberg, extras supervisor and Lindy dancer himself, will attend the weekly Heptown social dance in Kårhuset in Lund (kl 20-22), to present the whole thing in further detail and answers questions. You can already now express your interest in taking part in the film by emailing statist@solidentertainment.se

Carl is also looking for lots of OTHER EXTRAS, not just dancers. So if you are interested in any way in taking part in the film do send him an email at the adressa above. The film is shot between 23rd of april – early june.

Let’s meet up and get to know each other after the dance. We will walk/bike from Kårhuset after the dance and go to Botulfs bar.
