Monday Swing in the park | Beginners’ Lindy Hop class & social dance 26/8

Sommarlund has officially ended, but the dance floor will remain for a few more weeks, and HepTown will continue independently. We will keep it free, but you are welcome to contribute via Swish to cover the expenses. Please register so that we can keep you informed if circumstances change and we need to cancel or move indoors. If you are not a member registration is mandatory, but still free.

We’ll have an after party/picnic right on the dance floor. Bring warmer clothing, blankets and something to eat and drink

BEGINNERS LINDY HOP DROP-IN CLASS 18:30-19:20

The evening starts with a short taster class in Lindy Hop aka jitterbug , an African American couple swing dance from the ’30s Harlem, NY. This class is targeted at adults BUT teens that are OK taking classes with adults are also welcome to join.
Just come and join us, no partner and no registration needed.
This class is taught in English as there is always lots of tourists joining

This course is aimed at adults, but teenagers who dare are welcome to participate.
