Det verkar som att sommarvädret håller på att ta slut.. Tyvärr måste vi ställa in eventet ”jazz picnic” på söndag på grund av dålig väderprognos.

Summer Swing Jazz Picnic

Söderscen and Swing Helsingborg (https://www.instagram.com/swinghelsingborg/) invite you to the final event of the Summer Swing! Bring your picnic blankets, food and drinks to enjoy the last days of the summer with a great programme. You can chill out and relax on the grass, enjoy the music and dance!

During the day, we will first have a Lindy Hop try-out course where you can learn the basics of the most known swing dance or just warm up and meet new dancers. Doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner or an experienced dancer. No need for registration or partner, just drop in!

After the workshop, it is time to listen and dance to some swinging tunes from Fats Waller to Aristocats. Skåne based Swing Street Trio (from Swing Street Orchestra), with singer/dancer LinaMaria behind the microphone will cheer up the evening!

Preliminary programme:
16.00 – 17.00 : Lindy Hop try-out(crash) course
17.00 – 19.00 : Swing Street Trio Concert
19.00 – 20.00 : Social Dance with DJ
